Your Decision

...has already been made. Sorry if you're too late to have any input, but these things have deadlines, y'know?

It was a close thing, but "The Rocking Chair Test" came out on top.

OK, so you can no longer vote. But you can still watch the presentation videos in the "Our Ideas" section below, and, even better, you can still leave us your details! If you do, we promise we'll pretend you've been involved from the start. Oh, and make sure you check out the development blog for up-to-the-minute updates.

Give me exciting regular updates as this project progresses, like you would with a client.
Just tell me when you have finished the entire project, as if I was one of your relatives.
Don't tell me any more. I'm just teasing you with an email address you can't use.

The Brief

nonsense pointer

2008 looks set to be an exciting year for Nonsense. After setting up our little ad agency in Jan 2007, we’re now moving into bigger offices, adding new faces, and generally gearing up to chase some interesting new projects and clients.

Trouble is, we don't have a website yet – let alone a fun, interesting one that makes us look good at what we do. So, knowing no better, we decided to write ourselves a brief, and then set about answering it.

Bucket-loads of tea and as many heated discussions as an EastEnders omnibus later, we settled on three ideas we liked. Then for some reason we thought it'd be good to let you lot decide which one to run with.

So, we had a bit of fun cobbling together three short 'n' sweet video presentations. We’d like you to watch them, and vote for the idea you think is best.

The one with the most votes by Nov 1st will be developed into our agency website.

UPDATE: Voting is now over. If you voted, thanks. If not, you were obviously terribly busy and we have much sympathy for you. Either way, you can keep up-to-date with progress via our new development blog.

Our Ideas

Media: Mixed

Our site should show we can come up with good ideas in any media. So let's make the site from actual ads and bits of marketing that we create (using appropriate media channels for each section, of course).

Presentation

On The Board

We want our website to be a little window into the creative world of Nonsense. We figure a fun and interesting way of doing this would be to make and update our website by hand, using our office pin-board.

Presentation

The Rocking Chair Test

We want our website to encapsulate Nonsense's down to earth approach to creative thinking. So, our website should be presented by the most charming, thoughtful, straight-talking people we know; our grannies.
